Hex Color ChartTutorial: Change the font color
THIS IS FOR THE 1.3.1 FIRMWARE. It should work for other firmwares but hasn’t been tested.

1- Loading the firmware or the iPod
Open iPodWizard 1.3 or 1.2d and select "iPod" or "Firmware File" as edit mode.
2- Finding the "font type" resources
Go to the "Layout tab" and choose "Font Types" from the drop down bar as your resource type.
3. Editing the resources
Click on the resources "24209". Click on the number under the "Font ID(text string)" in the information box.
4. Changing the "Font ID" value
In the box to the left of the change value button enter "24112". Click on the "decimal" circle and press the change value button.
5. Changing the "Font ID" value
Click on the number below "Font Size" in the information box. Go to your "Value" box and type 10. Then click decimal and then click "change value".
6. Changing the Color in "Font ID" value
Click on the number below the "z2" value. If you look in your hex box there should be a digit highlighted. (It'll be a 0) There will be a total of 3 bytes that you will be changing. Look at the hex box. Where it is highlighted it should look like this: 00 00 00 FF. The three zeros are where you will be entering the html color of your new font color. Make sure to not remove the last FF or else it will not work.
7. Repeating steps 2 to 6.
Repeat 2 to 6 for the "24210" and "24212" resource.
8. Writing to the iPod.
If you’re using the "firmware file" as edit mode, press the "write" button first and next, press "write to iPod". If you’re using the "iPod" as edit mode, press "write".
